Nanoweb Medium : Great for those that don't like changing strings a lot

I mostly record music, and am not a guitarist at all so I cannot comment on the feel and playability of these strings.

I found these stings to sound bit duller when recorded, not bright like other plain strings, however they seem to stay that way for longer time, and don't seem to age as fast as normal strings without polymer coating do, giving them noticeably longer lifetime and more consistent sound over lifetime. That being said I prefer simpler, cheaper NEW (FRESH) strings for recording, that give a brighter, fuller and broader sound, and leave more possibilities for shaping the sound in post production.

So my PERSONAL opinion is these strings are very good idea for guitarist who don't like changing strings a lot, but for studio use they narrow the possibilities for tone shaping, which might not be a problem if you like what you are hearing.
