Nanoweb Medium : Elixir or not, that's the question?

My final say in this matter is that I like using Elixir strings on guitars that I don't play too often. Elixir strings seems not to age in time, but by wear. If you don't play the guitar in a year it will sound exactly as good is it did last time you touched it. This is not the case with regular strings.

However, I do not like using Elixir strings on guitars that I play very often. Up on those hot and sweatty stages the abuse on the strings are excessive, and after a gig like that, Elixir strings will sound just as dull as regular strings. Also, they will break just as easy.

Four stars on sound. Sometimes I imagine that a brand new Elixir string doesn't sound as good as a brand new regular string. Although the new string sound will last longer.

Five stars on quality due to the fact that I can have guitars that I don't play too often sound good for a very long time!
