I have read mixed reviews of these small beasts, some of them claiming they're not loud enough, or easily sent into clipping.

I usually use 'Protection' by Massive attack to check if the bass is clipping: there's no way to clip these guys before reaching a volume that's really too much for near field monitoring! These speakers are LOUD! and the bass is quite well defined, way better than from speaker bigger in price and size!!

Stereo image is beautiful, and calibration is effective.. Still gotta try Sonarworks, to compare the two calibration settings..

But for near field monitoring, I'm definitely overwhelmed.
