JF344 : Like 'em!
I usually use Ernie Ball or GHS roundwounds, but tried a set of these on my fretless in an effort to reduce fingerboard wear.
Was expecting them to be a bit of a challenge to get used to, but my hands seemed to recalibrate to them soon enough.
They don't seem as dull and thuddy as I thought they might be - can still get some fairly bright sounds out of them.
Good all round then - I've just got another set for my fretted Stingray to see how that goes. Probably with me wanting to get rid of my FL jazz for a shiny new FL Stingray, but time will tell!
