18810 Black : Strong and versatile keyboard stand

This is a fantastically strong and stable keyboard stand. I use it primarily in a home studio, but occasionally use it at gigs. I use this stand together with the K&M 18813 MKII.

It is adjustable to comfortable sitting and standing positions, and remains stable at every height I have tried. The addition of a K&M 18813 MKII comfortably supports a second keyboard or a laptop. When using a two keyboard setup, it was easy to position the instruments so that controls were accessible.

It is possible to disassemble or reassemble this product in only a few minutes and it does pack flat, but still requires more space than an X-style stand to transport. While this product does not fold down or transport as easily as an X-style stand, it is certainly stronger and more stable than an X-style stand. I would not rate this product poorly due to its portability, however I feel that it is better suited to use in a studio where it is not being frequently disassembled and reassembled. Despite this point, I have certainly not had a bad time transporting it and setting it up for use at gigs.

This stand is solid, and everything about its construction indicates quality. I expect it will serve me well for a very very long time.
