Xenyx 502 : Little useful guy

I bought the little guy because I needed a handy solution for specialized tasks. The size is impressively small and fits in a mini-bag I already had that is about an A5 size. So, if you seek portability, this is DEFINITELY the way to go.

Obviously the I/O at disposal is terribly limited; you will not have XLR out, for example. Not suited for bands, but really helpful in other scenarios like:

- making a personal headphone monitoring mix from various sources

- specializing from above, sending a click to the drummer along with the monitoring

- simple setups like keyboard + voice duos

I even planned to use it as an enhanced monitoring mix when using my in-ear headphones, by blending in direct output from my guitar modeler, monitoring mix and an external ambient microphone to lessen the isolation of in-ears.
