9050L : Fender 9050l Flatwound Strings
These strings are excellent, i have them on an Epiphone EB3 SG bass and it absolutely thumps !, the benefit of flatwounds is not just better tone, but they are so much easier to play than roundwound strings,
The strings are made to a very high standard and have a dull grey finish, very different appearance than roundwounds
i play in a covers band and can do a 4 - 5 hr rehearsal with no sore fingers. Just put another set on a new Harley Benton Jazz Bass and im pleased with the results so far. they seem to settle very quickly
If your looking for a classic 60's bass tone then these are the strings you need. For the price you cant go wrong
