9050L : Very underrated flatwounds

They don't cost as much as other flatwound bass strings but play better and sound livelier than significantly more expensive flatwound string sets I've tried. Don't let their low price fool you! Sure, they may not be as smooth to the touch as Rotosound or GHS flatwounds, but they sound brighter and have a longer sustain. Being stainless steel, they should last you a few years. Unless, of course, you're one of those bassists that have to have a fresh set of strings for every gig. I like that the tension is quite well balanced and all four strings are equally loud, which is not the case with the brands I mentioned previously.
