2220 : Strings that I have used for the last 10 years

Have used these strings in various applications (from studio recordings to playing live) for maybe the last 10 years now. Simple, nothing too fancy, yet great sounding. Makes my high-gain sound to be even more chunky and sharp (have not found any other strings that would make it to sound the same). Even though they are quite thick (11-48), it is pretty easy to play, even lead parts. The only negative thing could be the durability. You will not have the same amount of freshness after playing a few weeks as you would have with Elixirs (i.e). Anyways, it is considered a good hygiene to change your strings every month or at least 2 (depending on how much you play). All in all, a pretty great pack of guitar strings, especially if you want a bit darker and heavier tone (because of the thickness). Totally wins considering the cost/quality ratio.
