Maschine MK3 Black : Best hobby for a developer

I spend half my day on the computer as a software developer.

Maschine has been my way to escape work. With just the imagination, I can create music. Somehow the finger fidgeting comes very "handy" here, with the beats and all.

Initially, expansions that can be purchased and downloaded from NI-website to bring inspiration. Different genres of beats will give you templates of what's possible.

Eventually other inputs can be incorporated, like real instruments (guitar, keyboard), even organic sounds/noises can be sampled - finger snaps, footstomp, voice, even scratching surfaces.

This devices is amazing.

I'm not a professional music producer, but I feel anyone that's in to music can find this awesome and interesting.

In fact, my 6 & 12 year old daughters love this as well!

I have no issues so far, its perfect for me.

I'm saving up to get the Komplete Kontrol S88 or S61, but for now, I will be purchasing an M32 next.

The guide I used to get started is just the user-manual (downloaded), and Youtube.

If you need a new hobby, get this. Its really fun and the amount of music you can create is endless.

You won't regret this purchase.
