TE-40 TBK Deluxe Series : Harley Benton TE-40 TBK Deluxe review
I bought this guitar just to knock about on as it's so cheap, however, it's price doesn't mean it's bad. To start with it looks great all that black and gold looks cool. How the strings come through the body over the bridge is great, it adds to the look and is a bit different from most tele's. It's well made and doesn't feel like it only cost 80 odd quid. As for the sound, well, it definitely punches above it's weight. Most cheap guitars sound really tinny and you don't get much variation. However, and this may be due to the Wilkinson pickups, it sounds great. You can get that classic tele sound and also when put thru distortion it sounds really raunchy. Unlike a lot of teles, which don't handle high gain too well. Definite steal at this price and would recommend to beginners, people in grungy or indie bands and want something they don't have to be to priceless with. Great guitar!
