Valuestrings Bass 45-105 : Light feel, meaty sound
Very Impressed. I got these strings out of of the package and my immediate thought is that they'd be too light to sound any good. I was very wrong.
They sound great, with just the right amount of growl and clang when you turn up the treble. Roll off the treble and they have a lovely smooth tone.
They feel really nice under the fingers and let you skip about better than a higher gauge string.
Price wise, difficult to beat. I'm not sure if they'll last as long as the last set of strings on my bass (I'm ashamed to say I kept them on there way too long), but they seem very well made.
