TE-52 NA Vintage Series : My 4th HB

Amateur player Greece,

My 4th HB and the heaviest, 4,5 kg.

Body: 4 chunks of wood, matched grain, perfect finish!

Neck: Very fine finish, looks great feels great, minor fret problems, skunk stripe high up towards the head not totally leveled with the neck

Body neck joint: some little tiny gap, will be resolved later.

Nut: Plastic. Does the job, well cut.

Tuners: very nice!

Pick ups: Fine sounding, needed some height adjustment.

Knobs: very nice, responsive.

3 way switch: positive feeling, black plastic cover looks a little cheap.

Bridge: very nice! possibility for a top string load!

Saddles: A bit too wide they touch each other and don't move freely for intonation, just a little sanding resolved the problem.

Tune ability: came almost tuned, holds tuning very well.

Intonation: came almost intonated, very easy intonated after sanding the saddles.

Quality: minor quality problems, pick guard slot for neck pick up a little too wide cut. Machine oil marks to the neck, body neck joint, not so tight.

Over all: great guitar, plays and feels great, sustains for ever, great typical tele sounds, versatile.

A splendid guitar looks nice, feels nice, plays and sounds perfect.

Already ordered my fifth guitar.
