2225 : Ernie Ball 2225 008 strings

A very well balanced tried and tested blend of materials and technology. Very clean and bright sounding, long lasting if kept clean, and my recommendation to all new students of the electric guitar. These are my "Heavy gauge" strings, as I normally use 007's (267439). They were my favourites for over 20 years until I tried the 007's. Some of my guitars are always strung with these. They stay in tune better if you want to bend them a lot than the 007's, but are not as soft to the fingers.
