Nanoweb Light : Good but not great tone, coating technology means they last a long time
The tone on these is good but there is much better available for less money. Strings occasionally snap while you're changing them, so I suspect the quality of the string is not as good as the best I've tried, such as some of the DR electric sets. However, the coating technology is so far ahead of any other coated string I've tried that on average they last me far longer than anything else, and the tone stays bright for most of the string's life, unlike uncoated sets. I found these indispensable when living in very humid countries like Taiwan, but even in the UK they're worth the extra for the added lifespan, the lack of finger squeak and stickiness (a nice side effect of the coating) and the time/effort saved by not having to change strings so often. That last point is particularly helpful for 12-string players, so I can't recommend them enough for that purpose especially!
