Nanoweb Light : Great strings, if you can afford them!

Elixir strings are always a fantastic alternative when it comes to strings. They sound great and probably last the longest, by far, out of all known strings out there due to the nanoweb coating. As soon as you get used to them and the feel, you will find it hard to move to another brand. They are just that good! However, when compared to another brand of strings (no names mentioned) I felt that, while these strings are great in every possible way, that they did sound thinner than what I'd like them to. They had a thin quality to their sound which I didn't really like, and for me, that's why I only but these strings for special applications, like studio-work or the likes.
