HD-661 White : Comfort, colour & good isolation on a budget

Superlux headphones often get varying reviews, some enthusiastic some bashing them, the truth for these (as for many things in life) is somewhere down the middle:

-remarkably stylish and choice of colours is a welcome bonus of liveliness for studio gadgetry,

-sit on your head with a pleasingly soft but surprisingly firm hug,

-isolate at least as well as some headphones costing 10x more,

-come with a nice pouch and a choice of 2 cables,

-only marginally let down by the sound - a bit pointy in the high midrange, a bit hollow in the low mids.

So not for mixing, but more than decent for tracking & other generic use where headphone onitoring that won't break the bank is required.
