RP5 RoKit Classic : The best start-up home-studio monitor money can buy

These monitors are compact as monitors go, but they really pack a punch especially on the bass end. You can have a full spectrum of instruments going through and they are all really clear and also very loud-It has great low end considering the speakers are not large. I chose these as I am working in a small room in a corner.

High and low end frequencies can be adjusted in 1 dB increments, from -2dB to +2 dB to compensate for room set-up/acoustics. For example, I have them placed on desktop in a corner so I had to dampen the bass frequency to -1dB as the bass is emphasised in this case. It has all the inputs that you would expect from a studio monitor: balanced jack, XLR or RCA (unbalanced).

Fantastic bargain for price. I don't think you could buy a better studio monitor for a start-up home project. Don't forget item is priced singly-order two not one like I did! Having said that, I spent about 6 months mixing in mono on a single speaker with great results.

I intend to purchase monitor stands with isolation pads (bundles are available) and I expect even better results.
