RP5 RoKit Classic : A good place to start!
Bought a set of these as my first studio monitors. The frequency response isn't quite as flat and transparent as others in this price range and the bass can be pretty "boomy" at times even with the front ported design, and placement of these speakers in your room seems to be pretty important in getting them to sound right!
The added EQ and level controls on the back panel is pretty useful and helps tailor the speakers to you room easier.
All in all, a decent monitor for the price!
