S&H / Random Voltage 1036 : Very good module

Here are some pros and cons:

Cons:

- its a pretty large module, if you dont have a lot of space in your rack, thats not the module for you

- my module had a little inperfection in the printing.. but thats not too important

Pros:

- it does what it sais

- in my opinion it looks very appealing

- the price is unbeatable (i bought mine for around 70 eur!)

- you have 1 internal clock (with range switch and a on/off switch), which can be modulated by an external source (with an extra attenuator)

- You have a sample button which can be useful at times

- you have an attenuator for the external signal which will be processed by the module

- you have a attenuator for the inbuilt white noise (for random voltages)

- you have besides the internal clock the ability to use an external clock / gate

--> you have all the mentioned things two times!

I use this module in around 90% of my patches due to its big flexibility and the usefullness. I cant exactly say if this module is an exact clone of the original Arp 2500 sample and hold module but I bet that if there were any differences that they are not important.

I only can recommend this module to anyone who has some space in their rack and needs a high quality sample and hold module.
