PRA D1 : Superlux PRA D1 Microphone.

I bought this to use as a practice/rehearsal microphone to save time taking the 'GIG' mikes out and replacing them.

Boy was I surprised. We tend to use Shure SM57 and SM58 mikes when on the road and always have, but in comparison to this microphone, the Superlux PRA D1 mike had more volume and a much warmer tone yet was still distinct and pure.

We tried this for vocals and for harmonica use as well and found it to be super on both counts. The microphone is solid and sturdy with a nice and heavy feel to it. The top mesh is strong and there was no need for a sponge 'POP' filter.

Overall this is a great product at an unbelievable price and one you would be able to take anywhere.
