JRX 212 : Very good multipurpose wedge for the price
I have purchased these to expand a small monitor system with existing JRX100 wedges. In near enough all respects, they are the same product. The cabinets are well made, and the unit itself feels sturdy and has enough weight to it for some rough handling. For my use - which is sometimes as a small FoH system, and sometimes wedges, these speakers are very flexible - they have two pole mounts in the bottom to enable you to put them on stands either straight, or slightly angled.
Connection wise, there is one NL4 speakon socket, wired +1-1, and a jack socket. It would be nice if the jack was swapped out for another speaker so you could link to another wedge, though this is easily a modification you could do yourself.
Sound wise, it's a baby monitor so it's lacking in proper meaty bass. The high-mids are a little harsh sounding, but this can be ironed out with some EQ - and it's what you would do anyway if you are running monitors in any real way.
Overall, this wedge offered a decent amount of power, for a low price. It makes a good, multipurpose speaker for those on a budget. I will probably buy one more unit before the end of the year.
