Distant Voices Theremin : A nice pocket theremin
For those who love to explore weird sounds, this is a great toy to add to the collection. The controls are simple and easy to operate. It makes the typical sounds of a theremin, but you can not get more than a few tones, although you can change the intensity as in a regular theremin. The plastic enclosure is a downer , but it comes in a decent transport case. It would be interesting to include some reverb or delay, because the sound lacks some depth. But for the price, you can not ask for more. It's a nice trick to pull on a live show to add some experimentalism to the performance, to put on some studio traks or just to play arround in the rehearsal room.
