Producer Station : Great desk, but got gods sake take the wheels off of it

Without the wheels this is a great, affordable - none neck straining thing of beauty. I used the shelves for quite a few years, after taking the wheels off. Prior to this I was hurting my neck every day sitting in a Hermann Miller Aeron even at full height. Took the wheels off and now everything is fine.

Since then I've removed the shelves and added back the wheels. I now have a basic desk with the under slung rack space, which is at a much better height.

I feel like these bits of kit are set up to hold the most amount of gear possible and don't really cater to ergonomics at all. They take quite a lot of modifying to make work, but when they do work they're great.

Do sort of feel like I could have gone to Ikea and got something a little bigger for less money though.
