SC-DLX Gotoh Shell Pink : This is the one!

Quick impressions: I don't know how they're doing it. Satin body and neck, Rosewood fretboard, stainless steel frets, Graph Tech nut and Gotoh tuners and bridge. Standard pickups are Tesla VR-2 Alnico 5 humbuckers. With their Black Friday sale, I paid $280 USD and around $70 for shipping.

I've owned two prior Harley Bentons: a Tele carbonara copy that really had zero issues at all but "felt" inexpensive, and an Agufish model that I returned due to terrible quality control issues. I was hesitant to buy another Harley Benton and have it shipped internationally, however, while shipping UPS to the States is more expensive, I had a better feeling about the condition of the guitar verses shipping through DHL. Besides, I loved the idea of a shell pink single cut and figured worst case I'd use it as a mod platform. As of right now I'm still acclimating myself to it, but it sounds like the big rock machine I was hoping it would be. No quality control issues at all outside of a small black smudge on the top of the nut. I feel as though the quality is just getting better and better as this was a pleasant surprise and something I plan on keeping for a while.

I'm not sure there's a better value out there for a gig-worthy single cut that could easily go up against the higher end Epiphones, ESP's and Schecter's.
