Flint : Strymon Flint - perfect for tremolo enthusiasts

I bought the Strymon Flint to help recreate certain rockabilly sounds for a band I play with. Usually I would opt for the boss pedals which are easier to navigate and setup and which retail for about a third of the price. Despite that I decided to try the Flint as I had heard good things about it. This decision was justified big plus I feel.

The Flint offers great control over all aspects of your tremolo sound and with the reverb it's basically a 2-in-1 pedal which will free up foot print space on your pedalboard (a big plus if, like me, your pedalboard is already running out of space). After some experimenting (this may take some time but is well worth the effort) you will be able to achieve sounds to suit all kinds of genres. The Strymon website is also loaded with tips on settings to help you get different sounds.

The one slight negative is that, as mentioned previously, it is a slightly harder unit to operate but if you persevere you'll be able to unlock a wealth of sounds.
