Melodica : Cheap, good and many keys

This melodica is a very nice piece of gear. It sounds quite a lot like it's more expensive brother from Höhner, in fact I bet many people wouldn't be able to tell much a difference. The low notes are sometimes a little bit harder to sound, so you need to blow harder.

I use it in my home studio and in bandpractise to play reggae and dub. Also is a funny sound on gigs, especially played together with another melodica.

Bottom line, if you ain't got too much to spend and want to try one of these, this is probably your best buck's worth. The höhner melodica feels just a little bit better when playing, but this is only noticed when playing for extensive time and when playing chords.

This melodica does very well as a solo instrument.

Edit: It has a detuned C note in the middle after a couple of month and some other notes are also getting out of tune. Luckily I found a tutorial online how to fix the using a small file.
