Sound is a matter of taste. This little headphone amp is good for practice. I had higher expectations for the features it has but it turns out that no matter the brand (vox, fender etc) the quality of the sound is more or less the same. It amplifies the signal of your guitar, and depending of the headphones (high end headphones - the better) you will get a typical sound. Think about it. You want it only for practice, right? Anything else does the job. I use it every now and then, but not much as I expected I will use it. Please consider the reason you want it and how much you want to give for that reason.
