HB-20R : A solid beginner?s amp

Perhaps in the right, experienced hands, this little guy can do wonders. (I?m not talking about adding pedals, etc. but on its own) Still, overall, for those new to the world of guitar amps, this will get knock your socks off and get you on the road to learning all about the sound you can get from your instrument. It comes bundled with many HB products, so it is pretty ubiquitous.

Expect LOTS of volume, some "muffledness," ease of use, a good variety of options for a starter amp, and above all a rock solid construction.

Put together, this is way more than my child who is learning needs. So I have no doubt he will grow into it. He has already started discovering interesting sounds one wouldn?t expect from a straight forward learning entry level amp.

Only prob I can see is the loud noise generated each time you try to connect an external device (say your phone- i or android, both work - to play alongside a track, or just hear a song boosted over the amp. The noise is enough to say : That can?t be right. But once the jack is in and the music playing, the noise goes away. Apparently it?s a know bug. Why it hasn?t been sorted out is a bit strange, since they advertise it as one of its selling features.
