Fusion-T HH HT Roasted FNT : Outstanding value for money!

Harley Bentons Fusion-T really exceeds expectations.

For the price of the low to mid tier offerings from the big name brands you get very high end features. The main highlights are the roasted maple neck/stainless frets/spoke wheel truss rod/locking tuners.

You have to expect to do some fine tuning in terms of setting up neck relief/action. Fretwork had no sharp edges or issues but was a bit sloppy. In some places you can see tooling marks on the wood where they rounded the edges.

There were a couple areas for improvement:

Electronics used in this model are a letdown. Roswell has much better pickups that could suit this model. The pickups have a strange low output voicing and when split their output is really weak. The pots can be noisy when turning and the pull/push pot is very loose feeling.

Overall I still think this is a great purchase. Tuning stability is spectacular, action can be set very low and this roasted maple neck is on par with very high end guitars.

This guitar offers a modding platform like no other. If you address the electronics issue and get the right pickups you got a guitar that is definitely a keeper.
