Lex : Digital modelling at it's finest!

Let's face it: If you want a rotary effect/ Leslie-Simulation, you haven't got many choices, and that's a lot money for a single effect, but that's definetly worth it if you want an authentic rotary effect. In fact, I compared it to a real Leslie speaker my keyboardplayer has, and it wasn't as different as expected.

The sound is very special, but if you like the Leslie Effect, this is the one for you! It sounds simply great!

The Strymon Lex has a True-Bypass, four jacks (input/exp/L(mono)/R) and two buttons for turning the effect on and controlling the speed.

The handling is a bit complicated because every poti has two functions, which you have to read in the manual, but the second functions only have to be done one time (like setting the end-volume) before a gig etc., so it isn't a big problem.

It's definitly worth the money if you want the sound of an Leslie-Speaker!
