Xenyx Q802USB : a bit confusing but a good product for the price

I bought this to record our bands rehearsal , for this it works great !

the first issue is I can not keep it on all the time because it gets hot and it lacks of the on/off is disturbing so I wouldn't use as a multipurpose sound-card like i do with my audiobox USB , rather I would only use it only when needed.

second issue for me ,it uses asio4all and i found that annoying when dealing with multiple applications.

in terms of sound quality its very good , I was able to get zero latency monitoring by doing a simple loop workaround and it works great ( after a bit of research)

pros :

- price is very good for what it does

- solid construction

- sound quality is very good

cons:

- no power switch

- gets hot after a while

- phantom power led gets stays on even after turning it off - has no proprietary driver , works with asioa4all.

for this price and functionality, i would recommend.
