B2 White : Better Then I Thought
I'm a beginner and this piano suits me well. I use it at home for my own enjoyment. I bought it because I like the simplistic interface.
PROS:
The hammer action feels good. The piano sounds are really good. I mostly use the first two. Also the e-pianos and organs sound great. The sounds are detailed and a lot better then on the old SP-170. The speakers are loud. The USB-MIDI connection is an amazing advantage over the old b1. Not only can you use it with midi programs like Synthesia, but you can also use it as a speaker for smartphone over USB (no need to use audio jacks).
CONS:
The pedal is a bit skweaky under some contitions.
No headphone output in front (only in the back).
Only can use propriatory pedals from KORG (unless your willing to cut some wires).
After 5 years of use (not by me) the old SP-170 keys started losing the sensitivity (the replacement "buttons" cost around 80€). So if that technology hasn't changed better be prepared.
Also it would be nice to have "split/bass" function.
