SC208 : Accurate & balanced sound: a quality near-field monitor

+ wooden box: great built quality

+ pronounced bass, no subwoofer required

+ plenty of power: can be used in large rooms

+ brutally honest and accurate sound: very easy to add EQ and reverb to a mix, you will hear things that you have not heard before

+ competitive price point (see Adam 7x)

- too heavy to attach to wall (a bad idea anyway since monitors are rear-ported for bass)

- flimsy plastic dial (but great LEDs)

x unkown: customer service

OVERALL IMPRESSION: great monitors for large rooms when subwoofer is not desired
