QT-14SD Practice Pad : Good Practice pad

I bought this practice pad after watching a Rick Dior video about the practice pads he is using.

I am not disappointed at all but truth be told it feels nothing like a snare drum... It still has a pad rebound, but the pros are a lot more than the cons.

One of the pros is that it's the only practice pad that will actually give a GREAT sound when on your snare with the wires on.

You definitely get a different sound near the edges so sound wise it does feel like a snare drum and not a pad.

If you want a pad that feels exactly like a snare then the remo 10" tunable practice pad is the way to go.

If you want something versatile to practice your sticking and brushes on, and you don't really care about the bounce, then this quiet tone pad is the way to go.
