The guitar is excellent! The hype is real. I was worried about the build quality, but it is actually on par with WMI Korea. I've held the new Japan-made Ibanez RG550 Genesis and it had way worse and rougher frets. This means to me that Harley Benton quality control is on their game. Except...

The strings! Come on. Extremely corroded strings on a new guitar? The strings looked like they have already been played for year?!?!? I'm not talking about just being discolored. I'm saying the strings had thick corrosion on the nut area. All of them.

The pickups are just, meh! I already ordered Seymour Duncans for it.

I would have given it a perfect rating even with an average sounding set of pickups, but the strings really was a disappointment. Wish I could post the pictures here...
