Make a template with multitimbral parts (even Spitfires annoying plugins) and load it only once, even if on the same machine as your DAW. Using a second machine wasn’t such a win for me but the one-box thing works brilliantly. I have a virtual orchestra dialed in at the ready any time. For Logic I use one instrument per instance, along with Art Conductor articulations, and I save RAM using the power switches on the instances. This is different than the massive four or five instances people use with Cubase. Great buy, and the Epic Orchestra 2.0 that comes with is nice too.
