Fusion-III HH FR EB FCB : Excelent for the price tag, quality service however...
I was looking for a Floyd Rose guitar for some more virtuosic, Petrucci / Vai like lead solos and one that came with humbuckers, since my Strat was kinda falling short on covering these genres, so I decided to proceed to this guitar.
Finish looks ok, not as good as a Musicman for sure, but look at the price gap, I'd say the finish that came up with this guitar is proper of a 500€ guitar for sure. There's some flaws however, on the sides there's a line of wood that wasn't painted and that's on purpose, that's part of the design as you can see in the pictures, but on the line that's beneath the neck, some of the black paint passed to this wood line. Seemed rushed, it's only noticable when holding the guitar or looking really close, but well, that's a -1 point.
The worst was perhaps the quality check. The package itself came with a rough edge which was covered with tape and the guitar came with the G string broke. Not what someone likes to see in a brand new guitar. It seemed the guitar was one that was on the display stand, given some of the rust of the strings.
All in all, after a restring of the whole strings, I'm quite happy with the purchase. I haven't had the chance to try the Floyd Rose at its full potential yet since the strings are yet new, but when I tested with the old ones, it surely held the tuning after heavy usage. Perfect for me. Sounds good, I can see this guitar turning a few heads in a jam and delivering a great sound.
I just wished it came in better conditions, that's one point that HB could improve as I read similar cases.
Pros: Floyd Rose stability, sound versatility, looks great
Cons: A flaw on the finish, poor quality check
