SC-1000 SBK Progressive Line : Great Guitar

This is my second Harley Benton guitar. My first is a CST-24T in green flame. For all practical purposes it is a PRS at a significantly lower price. The feel, sound, and look is top rate and that is what led me to the SC-1000 SBK.

The SC-1000 arrived in the USA in record time thanks to the staff there who helped me through the ordering and processing. It was double boxed, in perfect condition, even came with a battery, and even had a cool sticker that reads "in case of emergency, rescue my guitar".

This guitar feels great. Machine heads keep strings tuned. The neck is smooth with no sharp edges on the frets and no string buzz. Bridge was set to the correct height. Plugged in (line 6 75w) it sounded fantastic and sustain was easy. It is a metalhead's guitar for certain. Compared to a Prophecy (way more expensive) this is easily the go to guitar.

If you have any reservations about HB guitars, or this guitar, don't. These are well worth having and playing, plus unlike my Les Paul Custom, there is no worrying about banging them up while traveling or on stage - a good excuse to just get another HB.

Pros: way too many, and the price - unbeatable.

Cons: none.
