Mon A15 : Very good quality for the money!

I bought this item 'the box pro Mon A15' To serve as my on-stage amplification for my Keyboards, AxeFx 2 and Monitor feed from the Desk(Through a Behringer 4 channel mixer) and it excels in all areas of this Mix!

Due to the Co-axial design, the feel and clarity remain constant whether i am standing directly in front of the monitor or moving around. This is very important when using it as my main source of amplification for the Axefx 2(Guitar players will understand the need for "Feel")

The clarity of the Keys is out-standing, From low synth notes to high piano the range is there!

For my full band monitor mix I have Kick,Hats, Acoustic guitar all vocals and depending on venue, A small mix of snare and even Bass guitar included in the mix.

The mix never gets muddy and I haven't found the monitor to be lacking any power, even on the loudest of stages.

The monitor is relatively light amd is easy to handle due to the well thought out recessed handles. Can take both 1/4 Inch Jacks and XLR connectors and also features a link thru feature. Ground lift option(very handy for venues with poor power) and the Backline/FOH switch appear to alter the mid-frequency depending on your application.

One (Very minor)thing to note would be that even though I purchased the waterproof cover for this monitor coupled with careful handling, the finish has started to chip. Not an issue for me as the sound quality more than makes up for any visual short comings plus if thats the only thing i can fault this thing on then you know you are on to a winner.

Overall I would recommend this monitor to a gigging musician who needs a quality monitoring solution but without the ridiculous, inflated price tag that comes with similar household name monitors.
