This is an amazing piece of gear!

The profiled sounds are near indistingiushable from the real thing (to the point where it's no longer a matter of better or worse) and it's real fast and easy to do as well. It's ideal in recording sessions where you only have to dial your tone in once and then you have it exactly the same for every following session or overdub.

And of course theres thousands of profiles already available online if you don't have a whole room full of amps sitting around.

There are loads of settings and effects as well, so unless you have something exotic you can ditch your whole pedalboard too. It's too bad there isn't any official footcontroller out yet, though Kemper is working on it apparently. Atm Im using a line 6 shortboard, which works fine as long as you have a usb-midi converter, but an official controller should work better.

I haven't had the unit long enough to comment on the durability, though I had to return the first unit I ordered due to a defective input. The replacement is doing great, however and seems quite sturdy. The controls are also solid and responsive.

Overall a great piece of equipment! After buying this I basically never have to buy an amp again, ever!
