G212 Celestion V30 : Sound improves when you open up the volume a bit.

My initial impression was -- this thing is big. The dimensions are listed, but it is bigger than any of the common 2x12 horizontal cabinets (Mesa, EVH, etc.), and I'm not sure why. That would be the only change I feel is warranted, less material, lower freight, and easier to tote around!

The cabinet is high-quality. My friends instantly wanted to know where I got it when I walked into the room with it. It's a little darker sounding, and while I was impressed the last few weeks playing through it in my basement, it really sounded much better at higher volume when playing with my band. That's the way it is with many amps and cabinets, and I was truly pleased -- it sounded really, very good!

If you need a 2x12 cabinet, you will not regret purchasing this one. If I had to go back and make another cabinet purchase, this would still be the one!
