G212 Celestion V30 : Incredible value for the price

This cabinet is definitely well made and its incredible price is way lower than the sum of its parts. The two 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speakers alone are worth the price paid. The cabinet appears really solid, and is not affected by vibrations even at higher volumes. Two big steel (not plastic) handles, good tolex, metal corner pieces and rubber feet. I am definitely satisfied by the overall quality. Coupled to a good valve head (I own a Blackstar HT50) the sound that comes out keeps all the promises: deep and precise low frequencies, great presence in the middles and definite highs. Despite it has its own identity and character, the sound can be perfectly "taylored" with the help of a good equalizer (I use the Artec SE-EQ8 Graphic EQ in the loop circuit of the head) to get exactly what you want.
