G212 : Good Value Cab / Very Poor Drive Units

I did buy the Harley Benton just for the cabinet & using better

quality speaker drivers. The drivers that came with this G212 are made in China (no manufacture name) and were poorly built. When first tested there was a lot of low freq. distortion / resonance - so I checked the speakers for any visual cone damage but they were fine.The problem was due to loose magnets which cause the cones to flap & the voice coils will be out of line. So the magnets are are not fixed rigidly to the cone and I guess in transportation they may work loose.
