you cant make a glassy clear single coil strat pickup roaring, like you do with a humbucker. usually it ends up with a very thin and funny, buzzing noise. this pedal also does not make it roar but when i switch it on my strat begins to tell stories more louderwith eager. it sounds like a man speaking very loud with a gnarly throat voice, spitting out while talking, and telling dirty things done with a woman. if you switch it off your strat pretends like nice a guy again. no cons for me. i am giving the answer you are looking for right now. it is not different than ts 808 nor ts9. only difference no batteries allowed on board and small enough for your pedalboard.
