Sub'N'Up Octaver : Great one

Tc electronics sub'n'up octaver is a great unit which provides all the neccessary sounds.

I have had a EHX POG before this, but being a fan of TC products i decided to try this unit. Straight out of the box it feels great, and quality is top notch as always with tc pedals.

A great feature is the possibility to connect this pedal to a pc and tweak sound by hand, by this the pedal gives you limitless possibilities of octave sounds, and if you don't want to tweak anything, just use the tone print function and experience what tc guys think is a good sound.

There are three modes, poly mode is a mode in which it can track chords, this is a great feature, but the chord tracking is not the best, it tracks, but sometimes lower octaves get messy, POG tracks chords a bit better, although this is a small minus, this is not very noticeable, and doesn't affect play ability.

Second mode being tone print works fine and the pedal is pre-uploaded with an awesome organ sound.

Third mode is classic which can take only single notes, i would rather use polyphonic, although this mode has a bit more beefy octave sound.

Conclusion, a good octave pedal with lot of possibilities, recommended.
