B2031A Truth : These are good monitors.

10 years ago when I bought my first pair there wasn't much competition at this price range. Since then several manufactures have made monitors in this segment and the B3031A Truths from Behringer themselves have added to the competition. In that regard the B2031A might seem outdated and therefor a bad buy. But they are not! I still have not heard anything go as loud as these in this price. My oldest pair have held up to my abuse for 10 years. They've even been used as a small PA several times and transported around. Not a single thing has ever failed me. I bought a pair to install in a 150 people room (together with a sub) and they just keep pumping. They are rarely even turned off! I mounted them from the ceiling. That is NOT something they where designed to do so it took quite a bit of work. But it was worth it!

I've used them as studio monitors as well and they work fine for that. I'm sure there are more precise monitors out there, but they do the job. Don't play them too loud though or you'll wear your ears out fast. They are really loud.

Good speakers, and I feel you get more than you pay for with these!
