DS-10 Mini : Only Good as a Travel Guitar - Nothing More

There's a reason this little guitar is so cheap - it's poorly made and there must be virtually no quality control.

I'm not a guitar snob by any stretch. The most expensive guitar I own is a EUR 600 instrument and I love it just the same as my EUR 250 axes. So I'm not the type of guitarist to nit pick over the small stuff.

My Harley Benton DS-10 Mini came with several sharp fret ends and absolutely will not hold a tune. I'm not an expert, but I'm guessing it's either something with the nut or the very cheap feeling, loosey-goosey feeling tuners.

If you want something to take camping that's light and you won't be too upset about being damaged/getting wet, etc., the DS-10 Mini is probably worth the money. Beyond that, it may only be worth it as a project - something to tinker with.

As a finished product, though, I don't recommend it.
