PADJ1-L-F 12" Travel Djembe : Very good djembe
Very light, durable and weather proof djembe. I interrailed through europe for 3 weeks with this thing on my back. It had the same tuning when I came back :) The synthetic heads are also very good in a country with humid summers and very dry winters, no worries about heads cracking..
It might not feel as authentic as a proper wooden djembe, but the sound is very nice, plenty of bass with lots of high cutting overtones. I tuned my down slightly to increase the sustain of the high tones. Very happy!
