These are great little passive monitors with enough capacity to be used as small p.a. cabs if required. They are robustly constructed in wood cabinets and have foam grilles. The sound is tight and I have found I can use quite a lot of volume before I suffer feedback when used as monitors. My only slight concern is that the top frequencies sound a little compressed but that certainly helps in the fight against feedback! All in all they are really great quality speakers and are very competitively priced. I would certainly recommend them.
